Eppu-sisko lähetti mulle telkun.

My sister Eppu sent me a TV.

Se haluaisi, että musta tulisi uutistenlukija tai jotain...

She wants me to become a news anchor or something... 

Niin, mulla olisi kyllä karismaa moiseen hommaan.

Well, I certainly have the charisma for that kind of job. 

Mut miksi se lähetti mulle taskutelkun?

But why did she send me a pocket-sized TV? 

Eikö se muista, että mä oon iso raavas mies?!

Doesn't she remember that I'm a big, burly guy?!

My sister does come up with some strange ideas. 

Väsy, ei tuu mitään uutisia mun toimesta tänään.

I'm tired. No news from me today.

Kolli pyysi tuuraamaan hetken aikaa.

Ei muuta ku hommiin vaan.

Mitä ihmettä? Kolli on unohtanu jonkun tilauksen tiskille.

What's this? Kolli left someone's order on the counter. 

Mä syön pois ettei tartte hävikkiä tehdä.

I'd better eat it so it doesn't go to waste. 

Ja tietty toimin koemaistajana ennen ulos myyntiä.

And of course I have to taste-test everything before it's served. 

Voi ei, tippikuppi putosi.

Oh no! The tip jar fell over. 

Äkkiä pelastamaan se.

Quick! I have to save it. 

Hups, nyt taisi pelastaminen mennä pieleen...

Oops. I think that rescue didn't quite go as planned...
