The fate of the hanging chair

 

Mä sitte tykkään riipputuolista.

I really do like the hanging chair. 

Vaikka olisi se voinu olla vielä rappusilla.

Although it could have stayed on the stairs for a bit longer.

Palvelija meinaa tyhjentää rappusen ja terassin talvea varten.

Servant is planning to clear the stairs and terrace for winter.

Rudi, älä oo mulle vihainen. Mä vaan kerroin mitä kuulin.

En oo. Mä meen sanomaan palvelijalle, että kattoo ny vaan säätiedotusta ensin.

I’m not. I’m going to tell servant to check the weather forecast first.

Ai väittämällä, että tänään paistaa aurinko?

You mean by claiming the sun is shining today? 

Ainahan aurinko paistaa. Tosin joskus vaan sadepilvien toisella puolen.

The sun is always shining. Sometimes it’s just on the other side of the rain clouds. 

Mennäänkö meki tuohon narraukseen mukaan?

Shall we join in on the fibbing too? 

No ei ainakaan ulos sateeseen tekemään jotain...

Well, at least I’m not going outside in the rain to do something... 

Mut mitä jos joku huomaa, että mulla ei oo vielä karva kasvanu..?

But what if someone notices that my fur hasn’t grown back yet..?

Villapaitakeli

Sweater weather

 

Palvelija sano, että ulkona on muka kylmä ilma ja mun pitää laittaa villapaita.

Servant said it’s supposedly cold outside and I have to wear a sweater. 

Hanoi, tuu tänne alas. Täällä on lämmin.

Hanoi, come down here. It’s warm here. 

Eppu, ota tää villapaita pois.

Eppu, take the sweater off me. 

Tuu lähemmäksi.

Come a little closer. 

Vähän vielä... kohta se on pois.

Just a little more... almost there. 

Hanoi, vie villapaita pois ennen kuin kukaan huomaa mitään.

Hanoi, get rid of the sweater before anyone notices anything. 

Hanoi! Miksi sun villapaita on tässä?!

Hanoi! Why is your sweater here?! 

Öö, se on varmaan liian iso, sillä se ihan vaan putosi mun päältä.

Umm, it’s probably too big for me, so it just fell off me.
