Ei, se jäi sisälle nukkumaan.

No, she stayed inside to sleep. 

Sano olevansa sisäkissa.

She said she’s an indoor cat. 

Täällä on niin kaunis ilma, että mä meen hakemaan Epun terassille.

It’s such a beautiful day that I’m going to fetch Eppu out to the terrace. 

 

Kova tuuli

Strong wind

 

Lumi häviää ihan silmissä.

The snow is disappearing right before my eyes. 

Mahtaakohan tää kova tuulikin sitä hävittää?

I wonder if this strong wind is helping it melt too. 

Eddie, miksi sä oot nurkassa?

Eddie, why are you sitting in the corner? 

Tuu mun kanssa tuonne ylös.

Come up there with me. 

Mikä pamahti?

What was that bang? 

Katon alle meni tuulta.

The wind got under the roof. 

Mä en sitte yhtään tykkää tuosta äänestä.

And I really don’t like that sound at all. 

 

Jos tuut mun kanssa tonne ylös, niin kuulet vaan tuulen.

If you come up there with me, you’ll only hear the wind. 

 

 

Nurmikko näkyy!

The grass is showing!

 

Lumi on sulanu jo melki kokonaan.

The snow has almost melted completely. 

Kukkaniitylläkään ei oo enää lunta.

There’s no snow left on the flower meadow either. 

Toivottavasti siihen tulee tänäkin vuonna kukkia.

I hope there will be flowers there again this year.

Sitten kun on kukkia, niin ei tassutkaan palele.

When the flowers come, our paws won’t get cold either. 

Vielä menee pitkä aika kun nähdään kukkia. 

It will still be a long time before we see any flowers. 

Kuulekko? Nyt rupesi satamaan.

Do you hear that? It just started to rain. 

Sadekin muuten sulattaa lunta.

Rain melts the snow too. 

Ja mut! Mä en halua, että piskot osuu muhun.

And me! I don’t want the drops hitting me.

Äiti, onko pakko taas harjoitella?

Kyllä on kultaseni. Saatte herkkujakin.

Yes, my dear. You’ll get some goodies too. 

Saadaanko me lisääkin?

Söikkö sä jo kaikki?

Did you eat them all already?

Oh, mäki sain vielä.

Hanoi..? Ookko ny tyytyväinen?

Hanoi… are you happy now? 

Nyt en karannu sisälle.

See, I didn’t run back inside. 

Joo, tää oli paljon kivempi harjoitus mitä meillä eilen oli. Varsinkin herkut.

Yeah, this was a much nicer practice than the one we had yesterday. Especially the goodies.

Harmi vaan, että Hanoi tuodaan tänne pian.

Too bad Hanoi will be brought here soon.

Jos mä en kato, niin meekkö takasi?

If I look away, will you come back? 

Ihan oikeesti Eppu! Meidän piti harjoitella.

Seriously, Eppu! We were supposed to practice.

Höh, se livisti sisälle.

Hmph, she slipped back inside. 

Huh, mä ehdin ihan viime hetkillä turvaan.

Phew, I made it to safety just in time.

That was quite a tough practice again.

Lelufretti tietty!

A toy ferret, of course! 

Mä niin rakastan lelufrettejä.

I just love toy ferrets. 

Aina kun mä meille muuttaa uusi lelufretti, niin mä oon ekat päivät tukena.

Whenever a new toy ferret moves in with us, I stay by its side for the first few days. 

Ollaan vaan ihan kahden.

We are just the two of us. 

Eikä muut eres uskalla tulla meidän väliin.

And the others don’t even dare come between us.
