Onko nää lehdet tarkotuksella sävy sävyyn mun kanssa?

Are these leaves deliberately matched to my fur? 

Mä voisin muuttua näkymättömäksi jos pistäisin maate tähän.

I could turn invisible if I lay down here.

And then I could ambush unsuspecting Hanoi.

And we have to help the star shine too.

Yep, although we’re pretty brilliant ourselves.

So I wonder if the star will end up in our shadow?

It won’t be completely overshadowed. 

Mutta tiellä se kuitenkin on.

But it does get in the way.

Squirrel watch

 

Mulla ei ny oikein olisi aikaa raportoida.

I don’t really have time to report right now. 

Oon nääs vartiovuorossa.

I’m on guard duty, you see. 

Kateltiin ikkunasta ku orava rellesti meidän terassilla.

We watched from the window as a squirrel was running riot on our terrace. 

Sitte Rudi, Eppu ja mä tultiin terassille ajamaan se pois.

Then Rudi, Eppu and I went out onto the terrace to chase it away. 

Se juoksi pakoon meidän koivurappusille.

It ran off to our birch stairs.

Sitte se pääsi ylhäältä pakoon.

Then it managed to escape up and out. 

Ja ny mä vartioin ettei se tuu uudelleen.

And now I’m keeping watch to make sure it doesn’t come back.

Palvelija sano, että meidän pitää keksiä sille halloween asu tai koriste.

Servant said we have to come up with a Halloween costume or decoration for her. 

Oon ihan varma, että sitä ja Pate keksitte sen.

I’m sure you and Pate will figure something out. 

Ai, Eddie livahti noin vaan hommasta.

Oh, Eddie’s sneaked off and left us to do the work. 

Kato Pate-täti. Tää sopii mullekin koristeeksi.

Look, aunt Pate! This would make a nice decoration for me too. 

Eppu, sä olisit ihan valmis lähtemään sen kanssa Halloween juhliin.

Eppu, you’d be all ready to go to a Halloween party with that on. 

Pate! Muista se palvelijan koriste!

Pate! Don’t forget servant’s decoration!
